Welcome back Doc --- How is the shoulder doing?

Well Fungo,

It's been about 9 months since the surgery and things are loking and feeling pretty good. I meet with my surgeon at the end of the month for a checkup and hopefully I'll get some more good news.

I've started to throw more regularly now with absolutely no pain at all, I can't remember the last time that has happened for me. I almost have my complete range of motion back and it feels great, everyday I feel stronger and stronger and more confident in my shoulder. I'm not rushing anything and I'm being very very careful as to what I do throwing and lifting wise.

I recently started working out with a Strength and Conditioning Coach who has trained Jeff Francis and Adam Stern in the past along with notable NHL'ers. She is simply amazing and I'm noticing results immediately.

Now I just have to stay focused and make sure I do everything right and hopefully in the near future I'll be back playing College Baseball once again, I just have to find another College, as it looks as though I won't be returning to my previous school.

Hey Kid! Great to see ya! Glad to hear about the progress and the wise attitude of caution in your rehab as well! Hope all is well with the family. Hope to have you joining us on a regular basis again!

I would just like to extend my thanks for all the support from everyone over the course of my injury and my recovery, it's great knowing that I have the support of some great friends.

I must also say that this site has improved 10 fold since when I was a regular, I never thought it possible to get any better but it was, I look forward to adding my 2 cents in topics, and look forward to sharing stories with all of you once again.
