I have been criticized in private for some of the music threads started in this forum... oh well... without music... this forum mostly languishes...

This is a tribute to our dear friend Jeff Taylor.

I have always said that American Idol has never produced a great talent like Judy Garland, or Frank Sinatra, or Sammy Davis Jr. I even wondered out loud if America produces great talent anymore. I don't feel that way anymore.

Well.... I fell asleep to the TV a few weeks back and when I awoke, this entertainer was on CMT. He may be the most talented entertainer of all time imho. I have never seen someone with so many gifts. He won America's Got Talent in 2007 and until last week, I had never heard of him before.

The first clip below is from one of the episodes of America's Got Talent just for a tease introduction. The following 9 clips are from his Las Vegas act which he was paid 100 million dollars for. But I have one bone to pick with you.

How can you question whether or not America has produced any great talent when posting a clip featuring The Hoff????

I saw him on Americas got talent but didnt see him until last couple shows.I love him, he is brilliant.Thanks for those.I watched about three but will come back and watch.Thanks,I really enjoyed that.Absolutely incredible.

I haven't followed America's Got Talent faithfully until this last season. They had Fator on as a guest. I had never heard of him, but he was absolutely amazing. I found myself sitting in my chair trying to talk and not move my lips!! His ability and talent are just stunning!!
