I would have loved to stay for BOTH GAMES but you know how families can get on warm days if they have to follow dad around! I did get to see JohnLex jr's GREAT arm on throwdowns to 2nd between innings. Did not see anyone brave enough to test that arm while I was there! Had to drop the wife and kids off at the mall, run back to UK stadium, watched a few innings, then had to run back to the mall, pick up family and run to the legends game and got to see 3 innings before the monsoon hit. Son then informed us that game probably wouldn't be finished that night so we headed home. Game resumed in 1 hr and 50 min and son was brought for 3.1 innings and picked up a W and we missed it Was very impressed with JohnLex jr Nice to meet you, wifey, boys and jr's gf!

He's going to have a lot more wins at Applebee's, IB, but that had to be frustrating to miss that one! I know what you mean about that rain, it started right as we were driving away at the end of the game, and it was hard for quite a while, but then it stopped.
The end of the all-star game was pretty exciting, it was tied going into the bottom of the 9th, D drew a walk on a LONG at bat, and then eventually scored the winning run on a long fly ball to center that went over the CF's head. I'll pass on the compliments to him, he felt pretty good about his performance, particularly since he hadn't played in 4 weeks! As you can see, when we come out to the game, we ALL come out to the games!
