We are looking for some good high school travel teams in Ohio and Kentucky to play in some of Diamond Sports Promotions Tourneys in 2008

Who are some of the best 16u travel teams and the 18u, 1p7u teams in this area?

Woodly - In my area, the HS teams often stay together in the summer and fall thus contributing to the fact there aren't many travel teams.

A good connection for baseball in the Lexington area though is "Champions Baseball". It's an indoor facility with some guys that have been involved in baseball for a very long time in this area. There's also "Eddie Brooks Academy" which is run by a former player Eddie Brooks.

In my experience, Ohio always provided some very good competition when it came to travel ball. The teams that stand out in the age groups you mention included Columbus Sharks, Midland out of Cincy, and Kentucky Colonels (which is actually northern KY based). I believe you can google any of those and find contact numbers.

I'm thinking some of our other wise folks might have some suggestions for you too.
