He said his hitters could not sleep last night because they were so excited with anticipation

I've never seen as many left handed batters as the Captains have! It was interesting seeing the emotion in everyone. I felt like there was such excitement on the Captain's hitters part. It was like you could see the nerves on the part of each Lexington kid as they made a defensive play to back him up. It was fun!

Clemens was obviously fatigued when he came out after three. You can tell he's been away from the mound.

One of the Captain's, Johnny Drennan, hit a no-doubter off of Clemens in the first inning that they have been showing on ESPN this morning.

What a memory that must be He also struck out six guys in three innings including young Mr. Drennan

What a great night at the end of a great couple of weeks for baseball in Lexington! It's about time that the country notices that we have some amazing baseball here in this part of the country!

Really must have been a special night for both teams.
