That is amazing - congrats to the Cards!

I was surprised by Clemson's performance today as well. I think the draft may have been a big distraction for them as they had a tremendous number of players taken.

Clemson just lost by two runs... looks like it was a pretty evenly matched game. I don't know that Miss State has the pitching depth to match up with Clemson though for a series. noidea

I don't believe anyone has the pitching depth to match up with them. Their number one guy - the fourth overall player in the draft was wobbly today. Maybe you just have to give MS credit. I think DK is probably pitching tomorrow.

Some fun baseball to watch today. Louisville lost a close one today 1-0, so there will be a third match against OK.... good luck cards!

Wichita State and UCI had a great game today with UCI on top 1-0.

I love this time of year!! clap

Still waiting to see how Michigan does in their super regional. For some reason, they didn't start their series until today....but it got rained out. I see alot of baseball being played in a short amount of time for MIchigan/Oregon! Smile

Oregon State just took the lead.

Don't know who Michigan's left fielder is but he has no arm.

OSU's Joey Wong is funky looking.

How about Louisville?

We just got in a short bit ago and the score then was 16-2 with Louisville on top. It was bottom of the 5th!!! I would say Louisville has this one wrapped, barring some kind of miracle for OK. Smile

It looks to me we have a fine field in this year's CWS.

North Carolina
Mississippi State
Rice
Louisville
Cal State Fullerton
UC Irvine
Arizona State

Michigan or Oregon State

Would be kind of cool to see North Carolina and Oregon State battle it out again. Does anyone know if UC Irvine is considered a mid-major?
