I was wondering if anyone knew the rules about playing high school baseball(in PA) and with a travel team at the same time. Someone told us there we guidelines, but I can't seem to find anything on the piaa or wpial site. My son has played travel ball for the past 4 years and would like to continue but not at the expense of giving up school ball. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

there would be no travel season in Pa during the hs season
basicly, you are subject state hs baseball rules during hs baseball season only

to clarify, most states do NOT allow "game competition" in a summer league during your hs interscholastic season - Feb to May - outside of that anything goes


some hs coaches do discourage their players from working out with their summer teams during the hs season
