Just thought I should take the time to tell everyone in here how things are going with my shoulder and search for a school.
The shoulder feels great, and I'm throwing more and more each week with absolutely no pain! My off-speed pitches are starting to come back each and every time I pitch a pen they are getting more sharper.
As for the school search.... There was a little mix up on my behalf earlier when I tried to get in contact with my Coach, but that has been settled and I will be back at 'The U', I'm returning to Urbana!!
So Ohio is once again my second home . It looks as though I will be returning for the fall semester.
Thanks again for all the support from everyone on the good Ol'HSBBW

Doc - we are all thrilled to hear this news. The best part is hearing about no pain
It's wonderful considering how bleak things looked that you have gotten yourself back on track with baseball and your education. That tells me a lot about your desire, determination, and talent.
Things sure did look bleak, but I read a quote by Arnold Schwarzenegger who said "We all face adversity throughout our lives. What matters most is how resilient the individual is and how quickly he gets back on track, no matter how great the set back. You must embrace challenges, welcome hurdles, grit your teeth and smile in the face of adversity as you overcome it. Without these things character can't be built, and it's character first and foremost that's the true mark of a successful person."
Ever since I read that quote, it's stuck with me, and will continue to stay with me.

You just need to make sure they keep CU on their spring schedule again this year! Would love for my son to have the opportunity to meet you! Regardless, congratulations, keep working hard, and dream big!!!

I thought we played you in the fall? I could be wrong though.
But regardless yes it would be an honour to meet you and your son.

Doc, I don't remember them playing in the fall, but it's entirely possible. However, they definately played in our Cancer Awareness Tournament which is in the spring. There's several teams in that tournament from the north. Spring Arbor was there and they're the team that ended up second in the CWS this year.
Son just walked in and they don't play teams in the fall he said.
So, hopefully, you'll end up on the spring schedule!

I'll ask Coach the next time I talk to him, which should be within the next few days to see if you are on the schedule.
I suspect we would be, from reading the report on our website it sounds like a great event.

News about Urbana University Baseball Coach. Seems Brian Harrison won't be back next year. Yesterday's news release announced his new position at University of Dayton.
All the while I've talked to Coach, he never mentioned anything at all about the possibility of him leaving.

Don't Colleges normally post something on their website when a Coach leaves the program?
All Urbana has done is removed Coach Harrison's name under the title of Head Coach and replaced it with TBD

Some of them do---my sons college coach informed the team he was looking at a another program and before his acceptance was noted in the press he called every player on the team at home during the summer to inform them of his decision

These days you can't hide much, but sometimes under certain circumstances, coaches don't tell anyone what their business is. Clemson's former pitching coach is still listed on the roster while he now is the head coach somewhere else.
We don't know what went on, kind of strange his name has diappeared.
