You guys haven't heard from me in a while, so I thought that I would update you all on my boys.

Brandon has decided that baseball isn't in his future, but being an architect is. And he's starting out great. His first semester in college is done and he finished with a 4.0. So, I can quit worrying about how he's going to do. Big Grin

Cody played some football this past season and loved it. He was a TE and a Safety. Weightlifting has begun and he is working hard. The start of baseball season is just 46 days away. And Cody is looking forward to the start.

Hey tas - thanks for the update. I am an Engineer so I have some idea how difficult that 4.0 was to achieve. Best wishes on the upcoming season and continued success in the classroom Smile

Tas - Please tell Brandon that I'm so very proud of him! A 4.0 for any college freshman is more than a terrific accomplishment! clap

I would imagine that it will probably feel a bit odd to not have to split your time this spring between still having two boys playing ball, but what a joy it will be for Cody to have you all to himself! As always, let me know if you're up here for any games.

The good thing about not having a son play ball any longer is that I am going to catch so many of the kids play that I've followed for a while. That I'm looking forward too! Smile

Lafmom, I am very proud of Brandon, as well. I believe he'll be fine. I miss watching him play. He does play in a softball league during the Summer and Fall, though. He enjoys that.

Cody isn't one to want attention. But he'll get plenty of it.

Once Cody is out of school, and depending if he plays college ball or not, I'm going to get back into coaching little league. I do miss that.

Brandon is getting his Associates and CADD done at a community college near home. He wanted to make sure that he could make the grade, so to speak, before transfering to a university. He has some English, math, and science classes to take to be able to transfer. He has 3 colleges that he is looking at when it comes time to transfer. Kentucky, West Virginia, or Morehead. Depending on his grades, he'll choose which one to go to when it's time.
