They have a fine bullpen, they can play offense and defense. Cole Hammels is fabulous. If they can get one other starter to step up, they might just win the whole thing. Tampa and Philly will be an interesting matchup.
Yes, congrats indeed! As I shared in another thread, I haven't followed the Phillies much and have been totally impressed with them!
I'm a Red Sox fan and fast becoming a Rays fan though. Out of respect for our dear Luvbb though, I'll have to cheer a bit for all involved!!
I suspect it will be a Phillies and Rays WS... barring some miracle for the RS! So, should be a good one!!! I love the world series... baseball at its best followed by the start of college basketball!! Wooooo Hooooo!! Great time of the year!!

Question to the Phillie fans. Do you have a preference who you'd like to win game seven? Regardless, it will be a great WS... either with RS or Rays. Just curious as to the PA thoughts.

I can only speak for myself...BUT....I am REALLY hoping the Red Sox pull this out. Why? Because I REALLY don't like them and that is who I'd LOVE the Phillies to beat. Plus, Francona used to be the manager of the Phillies, and it just seems RIGHT!

Hey CD you guessed it right. Personally I would like to see Boston pull it out. They got a whole lot more history with their franchise and I like their stadium mystic. Only problem I see being the Philly fan that I am, is that I won't be able to relax untill the 27th out of the 4th loss for Boston. What the RS have done in comming back from huge deficits in the past is nothing short of incredible. My hats off to them. I had the pleasure of attending a Brewers game in the first series and CB park was wild. I got a good chance of getting to a game in the WS and can't wait reguardless of who they play. Good luck to all you AL fans and let the games begin.
