That's a great idea! Haven't seen much of Bee lately... He's a busy man! Maybe we can get CD to make an appearance. What's his rate by now? Smile

Hi Laf, our kids were in Knoxville and I didn't get to go. They lost their first two games and won the next three and seemed to have a very good time, great experience for the kids seeing some of the very best teams in the country.
One of the teams that played very well in the tourney losing only one game by one run out of eight games played was the 14u Kentucky baseball club batcats, they were in our pool and gave us our first loss. My son said they were a very good hitting team and they seemed to score a good amount of runs in every game. There were teams from Cal, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Alabama...and on. I think 66 teams in all.
The Freedom Classic is on the weekend of the 4rth and we'll be going to Dublin, so I guess I won't be getting to see big "little beez". I'll also be stopping at the gas pumps a lot more! Frown
Laf, have you been watching any baseball?

IB - I have seen a lot of baseball this spring despite son not playing. We haven't been to the Legends, but I've seen t-ball, youth, and several college games. Wanted to get up to Florence last night for a possible shot to see Joe B, who's team was in town. The threat of weather kept us from making the trip though. They'll be back later in the summer too.

We use to go to the Knoxville area (Dandridge) several times a year. Great place for baseball!

I guess with the 4th being on a Friday, there will be more baseball games around the country than there are fields! It will make a great holiday weekend.

They also outscored their opponents 125-7 in 10 playoff games and finished 14th in the PG Crosschecker National poll and 9th in the USA Today poll. Not bad for a team from Kentucky, huh?

Well, I'm a bit biased in regards to teams from Kentucky! Smile However that 125-7 is an amazing stat!!! Congrats to PRP again!
