Why can't they show this in the fall? I love American Idol but hardly get to watch it because of baseball going on in the spring.

I think this spring line up is going to be great. You got Idol coming back and so is 24 on Fox and Lost has new episodes. Then you got USA with Psyche and Burn Notice having new episodes.

I'm looking forward to another season, now if I can only get my exchange student to get excited about it.

I am not sure if I can handle 12 hours a week of Idol....that is really going to fill up the DVR!

I will be following this thread but typically will be watching the shows a few days after the air date.

I'll be watching more this season I suspect. However, tomorrow UK takes on Bruce Pearl and TN! I'll be watching basketball!!

Can't wait to watch the Vols tonight. Guess I will be flipping, too.

I think Scott will do much better sitting behind a piano. I think once they get to Hollywood, they are allowed to play an instrument.

Just got done watching (tivo)....I like the fact that they don't seem to be showing as many of the atrocious tryouts that they seemed to have preferred in previous seasons. My two favorites tonight were Stevie (the girl named after Stevie Nicks) and Scott McIntyre the blind guy. I think he'll be much more comfortable with his piano. I also like the new judge.

American Idol is the place where the real world smacks the Oprah generation in the face. I know some of these people are doing this to get attention on TV but some of these people are serious that they don't realize how bad they are. It's hilarious.

I liked the blind guy and Stevie the best. No wait - I like the bikini chick the best but not as a singer.
