luvbb - I was going to ask you this privately but maybe this question will benefit others as well.
Which laptop did you end up getting, where did you get it, and do you like it? Price is optional to tell us but I know they are generally in the one to two thousand dollar range. Are you set up for wireless? I am just about to install a wireless repeater in my house so my daughter can have an Internet connection upstairs.
Dan...I do have the most wonderful husband. He knows how much I like to chat with all you wonderful folks...and he knows how much we'll be travelling this spring with baseball. So it was my husband who got the laptop for me. I am pretty "computer-illiterate"...so I will ask him for the specifics (he's at a Valentine's father/daughter dance right now with the Brownies! LOL...did I mention he's a good sport too! ). I can tell you it is a Toshiba and it is set up for wireless. I LOVE the ease of not being confined to the desk and the computer anymore (So decadent to be able to watch Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy, while typing on the computer and drinking my diet snapple all at the same time in my nice comfy over-stuffed chair! ). Altho, I DO like the keyboard on my old computer better. I am having a very hard time getting used to typing on the laptop...WAAAAAY too many typos for my fingers! I can't wait to take it along on my travels this spring so I can keep an eye on this forum in my absence! But also to keep up to date on all the games that will be going on around the country that involve all of our sons! Spring can't come soon enough!
