Peter, My Lafayette Generals, Lexington, KY are considered by most as a top team. They were state runner up last year with most starters back this year. They are ranked 15th in the nation by Collegiate Baseball and 39th in the nation by Baseball America. That said - polls don't win games. They should be good though.
We have several good teams in this area, including Henry Clay, Harrison County, Trinity, PRP. I'm sure there's lots more that I'm not familiar enough with first hand. Our state poll is not out yet. Feel free to PM if you have questions about any specific program I might be familiar with.

Tas - I can't say enough though that we're very well aware of the many great teams in this area. It's a thrill to receive some recognition, but we know how hard it was to get where we got last year and it won't be any easier this year. Any one is beatable on any given day. I don't know when state rankings come out, but I figure my guys will be up there somewhere.
I told you in another thread, but just in case, let us know if you all come for any games up this way.

Ballard, and Male are two of the top teams in Lousville. They have both have sent a great amount of players on to college. All three have very good coaching. Ballard is currently coached by Greg Gilbert, while Male is coached by Todd Driskell. The former Ballard coach was Doug Hash who guided them to consecutive state championship Runner-Up finishes. Ballard was 26-10 in 2004, while Male was ranked in the 2004 Pre Season top 25 By the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
