Peter, My Lafayette Generals, Lexington, KY are considered by most as a top team. They were state runner up last year with most starters back this year. They are ranked 15th in the nation by Collegiate Baseball and 39th in the nation by Baseball America. That said - polls don't win games. They should be good though. Smile

We have several good teams in this area, including Henry Clay, Harrison County, Trinity, PRP. I'm sure there's lots more that I'm not familiar enough with first hand. Our state poll is not out yet. Feel free to PM if you have questions about any specific program I might be familiar with.

Lafmom, them boys must be proud of those rankings. I'm sure when the state top 25 comes out Lafayette will be on top.

Tas - I can't say enough though that we're very well aware of the many great teams in this area. It's a thrill to receive some recognition, but we know how hard it was to get where we got last year and it won't be any easier this year. Any one is beatable on any given day. I don't know when state rankings come out, but I figure my guys will be up there somewhere.

I told you in another thread, but just in case, let us know if you all come for any games up this way.
