Thanks luvbb Sure is nice to see you back! Don't know if Tyler will play much this year but we are preparing like he might and staying positive. Coastal may have more hsbbweb members than any other school. Including me, there is Smokey, BigGuy, amishballfan, and puma1. I am also aware that TW344's son is interested in them as well.

How do you think Travis Risser will do this year? I heard he transferred from JMU to C. Carolina.
"Practice."-Tiger Woods when asked what he would do after failing to make the cut at the U.S. Open.
"When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stone-cutter hammering away at his rock perhaps 100 times without as much as a crack showing. Yet at the 101st blow, it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before." mtownfan

talk about rollercoaster rides........ How fantastic for TB and family. I can only imagine how TB feels, but if I had to guess, I would guess something like this. I contributed, and belong here. Hope this springboards to continued confidence and success. CD..........Congratulations.............how cool!!

Bee> Thanks so much!!! Everyone here has been so kind, I don't quite know how to express my gratitude to everyone Smokey and BigGuy - thanks for your support, your guys will get their shots and just maybe, as Smokey says, we will eat big steaks in Omaha someday. I have gotten so many pm's and public posts of support over these past several weeks that it has just been overwhelming. This community is simply awesome. Well, how ironic, for any of you that may have read the Roller Coaster thread started today by luvbb. In one fell swoop (i.e., hit) we have raced to the top of the coaster. Hey, I told him, celebrate tonight but forget about it tomorrow - I don't want to crash at the bottom of the coaster anymore His girlfriend is visiting this weekend and was at the game - it just does not get any better for a young man. He said he was mobbed by his teammates and interviewed by the Myrtle Beach newspaper after the game. He was so excited on the phone it is hard for me to describe in words. His first collegiate at bat and a thrill our family will never forget.

Well THAT explains it! Oh my goodness Dan! I should have started that "Rollercoaster" thread a couple of weeks ago, shouldn't I have!?! I take full responsibility for Tyler's performance today! Seriously tho, what a day for him and your family, congratulations! I THINK he showed the coaches today what he has got! Wouldn't be surprised if he won't be sitting the bench much longer! Way to go Tyler
