This question refers to the 11th region in KY. MC - I wouldn't touch that question!!! Too many good teams and too many weeks left before the big show!

There are 7 or 8 team that will have a shot at the 11 th Region Title this year. Lex. Christian is the best I've seen this year, Lafayette, and your Indians are or can be as good as anybody. Lex. Catholic, Henry Clay, West Jessamine, Tates Creek and Dunbar can all be dangerous. When it comes down to it the draw will have a lot to do determining the outcome. Lafayette will be hard to handle with Roe on the mound. Christian has 3 good pitchers, good team speed, and an outstanding defense, but maybe a little lacking on offense. Mad. Central has two quality pitcher(Ponder and Wiley) and with either on the mound can beat anyone around. Thats my top three. The rest Henry Clay doesn't have enough pitching, Dunbar is not deep enough either, Lex. Catholic has the pitching but can't score when you shut down Revere. Have not seen Tates Creek but Coach Fucci will find ways to win when most cannot an is always dangerous. One thing for sure it will be a great tournament once again. pull_hair Best of luck this weekend looks like the weather is going to hold out.

MC - Congratulations on a good win tonight. Good game - you all hit the ball very well as a team. I was especially proud of Marty - he's playing very well. If you all keep working hard - you can do great things. Good luck!

Thanks MC - Michael does a very good job of hitting the ball where it's pitched.

Marty has been smacking the heck out of the ball everytime I see him. He's got such great speed. He had a triple when we played you last Saturday. Michael said he knew on that catch that he made that he would never be able to get Marty out at home - but it was close. The kid has wheels. The fact MC has three lefty's is very unusual for a team - very fortunate for you!

How did your second game go?

MC-Noticed your posts on the TN forum. Coach Edwards from Hiwassee is, I believe, recruiting kids from several states surrounding TN. I'm aware of a couple of them and of course wouldn't share that info if asked for obvious reasons. I don't believe he gets a lot of kids out of TN, IMO due to several issues/challenges. He's a great guy and has to work hard on the recruiting trail. If you would like me to keep you posted as kids sign, I would be happy to. I've got my fingers crossed about a kid in the 11th region that I think is another outstanding player. We'll see and I'll let you know!

MC - I know of a couple of kids that are interested in going there - don't know what will happen with those kids. There's another kid around here that I'm hoping ends up going there that Coach has spoken with. By the way, you might ask Marty if he knows Michael tends to be a slob! Smile Not sure I'd want him as my roomate!!

MC- I have no idea where conversation stands with the player that I am referring to. He's an outstanding player IMO that I would love to see accompany M&M! However, I would never speculate on this issue or put a name - very private business for players and coaches!!! Marty knows who I'm talking about though - I've talked with his mom about the player. Don't put his name here!! Wink

Just wait until Marty gets a whiff of Michael's dirty socks - he'll be ready to ask for a room reassignment!

Have you started making a college list and do you plan on playing ball in college? If you're a junior, you need to be working on this now - contacting schools, etc. And keeping those grades up!! Wink You should look at that school to the south too!
