Depending on your age what I would do first. If your freshman or under then go to some of the schools baseball camps that your interested in and then a showcase later. If older find a good showcase that's near the schools you might be interested in.

Knowledge is Power! Thank you Mavens and HSBBWEB!

DocA: Promote yourself.Find some colleges that you like and send the coach a letter about yourself. Also you can make a short viedo of you
hitting, fielding and pitching if you pitch.Make sure you use the coaches name and know something about his team.

im in my sophomore year of high school and i play JV baseball. i would like to pursue baseball as a career and was just wondering if all the things people say such as, "you can set ur mind to anything you wanna do", etc. is that really true that if u work hard and dedicate urself that u can actually go to the major leagues? because i always play with 100 percent heart and dedication and am a pretty good ballplayer. any advice is appreciated.

send in some recruiting forms through the websites. They like to here about your stats and what not and they may know other coaches and inform them about you. Thats one way I know of. Like they said a showcase would help you out but if your a freshman/sophomore go to a baseball camp. I know a very very very inexpensive camp in ND. If you have interest send me a PM and I'll give you the info. Also check out the Summer leagues on here. Some are in the Northern area and could help you alot. I'm going to a camp this summer in WV and I play on the 8th grade baseball team(and I'm only a 7th grader) and hope it will help me out.
