Yes it did happen. It was crazy. A lefty throwing 85 threw one inside to a right handed hitter. Right on the silver part of the bat, it cracked in half. its a good thing he did not hit it on the bat head, or it could have killed someone.

I thought this was the strongest bat ever made? lol

this ever happen to you?

a $350 piece of CR^P, sure they'll replace it, but with another $350 piece of CR^P.

If we're going to keep using alum. bring back the Green Easton and Original Black Magic.

I saw this happen last year. The composite panels pop out and break into pieces if you hit them just right. I don't think the barrels are prone to breaking, though, so if he'd've hit it on the barrel you wouldn't have seen the problem.

Break or no break, $350 is an absurd amount to pay for a bat. For that much money it should swing itself and guarantee contact on the sweet spot. I guess it's OK, but I don't notice any advantage over what you can get off the year-old racks for $200, still in the original plastic rappers.

I know exactly what you mean. I had a Triple 7 for a couple years and it still had pop it in. I would still be using it if it wasnt to light

Baseball? It's just a game - as simple as a ball and a bat. Yet, as complex as the American spirit it symbolizes. It's a sport, business - and sometimes even religion.

i totally agree w/ midlo dad. 350$ for a bat in baseball?? i mean lets put this into perspective, ur spending it on a bat, and sometimes they dont make THAT much of a difference, ifu r a good hitter, the bat is not the big issue, sure u don't want to use a dead bat, but otherwise there is no reason to pay 350 for a bat
