Considering a new bat here, probably less than 200 to spend so either going with an '05 vexxum or stealth. I want to get something new, so it will last a little longer, and I have an '04 Connexion to use for batting cages that is already dead. Anyways, how exactly does this "hinge" thing work, and what is the advantage of these over a 1 piece bat?

My voodoo and vexxum are my favorite bats i have ever owned and i will never go back to a stealth or a tpx bat.
