How many of you catch wearing a palm guard or a padded glove?Extra padding in the glove. No glove or pad at All?

Which one is most effective for you?

I use a Palmguard sometimes, too. I also have a cushioned guard that velcros around your pointer finger and the part of your palm where your bones are..hard to explain, but it's just a partial cushion, not a whole glove. You can then put your catcher's glove on your hand, or slip on a batting glove first.

It sounds like I have the same thing as CatchingTheHeat. I look at getting one of those PalmGuard gloves, but Sports Authority didn't have any in my size when I was there and those are exspensive. The pad I have was like 4 bucks. I may buy another so I have it with each of my mitts. I saw Walmart has them now, too. I almost always wear a batting glove under my mitt or any other glove I am wearing. Seldom do I take my left-hand batting glove off during a game.

I use a plamgaurd only to catch our closer, he throws 84-88 MPH. The rest of the staff I go just with the bare hand.

I got the palmguard that you slip on your fingers, but its annoying- I'm soon gonna order the underglove.
