Hey guys, I live in Texas and it is extremely hot and humid. I was wondering what you all do to stay cool and hydrated. Do your drink water or a sports drink, if so what flavor? Do you pour water on yourself? Just curious, Thanks

Bulldog21,

You might want to ask this question in the Strength and Conditioning Forum. You might get some better answers there!

Make sure you take Potasium by way of bannanas or potasium pills to prevent cramps which happens when you become dehydrated.

It seems I mostly get cramps in the middle of the night though, not relating at all to dehydration.

Accelerade. About 30 minutes before the game chug one and then drink water for the rest of the game. Also if you pour water on yourself and you put a hat or catchers mask on and go out in the sun it will make you even hotter.
