if you want to play at college or beyond i say you should pitch and play short. I play both and i like short way more but i like pitching too. there are way more pitchers than shortstops in college and in the pros so it will increse your chances. you can do whatever you want but why not do both. i dont see why doing both wouldnt work but if you only want to do one thats perfectly fine.

every body on my aau team has to pitch and i'm the #1 catcher . hell they don't even let me run !! i even won a game /(3 hitter) . in our week long tourny in fla against our older team . stick with the s/s and work as a mid. reliever pitcher . if you can throw hard /junk or varied speed you'll be more usefull !!!
if you want some of this plate ,COME TAKE IT! it not nice to steal on my pitcher !!!! i get VERY angry when you steal on my pitcher . that means i have to go to the mound and lie to him and take the blame .... you Dont want me that angry!
