OK, we're all pretty much stronger with our dominant side so how do we address that issue in our strength training? Case in point: My 16 year old son can do 3x10 single arm dumbell rows with 80 lbs but when switching to his left side, he can only do 1 or 2 reps. Does he drop down in weight to a point where he can work both sides the same and build from there or do you just work with the weight you can handle?

He's a pitcher and I'm wondering if he should be doing that much weight to begin with? He's not big by any means (6'0" and 154 lbs) but is working to add weight and strength. I'm just trying to help him maximize his workouts and find a good routine for him to work with. He does the core training from the combat pitcher program but is now wanting to add in more weight training.

Thanks in advance.
