Often we see questions such as "full vs split routines", 1 rep vs mutliple reps, 3 sets vs 5 sets. Followed by answers, answers that do not take into account several important contributing, or dehabiliating, factors (to the goals set out for the trainee in terms of athletic performance).

Properly developed programs must take into account a myriad of training conditions, conditions of the trainee. Selecting a strength training program with the goal of increasing a particular performance or ability is a complex and confusing decision.

Athletes do not have the time to try many systems to determine the effectiveness of them.

WTS, the experienced, savvy and highest performance-enhancing trainers typically have one commonality. The program they write for any day, set of lifts, lift order, reps, etc. can and should change dynamically, on the fly, during the session of the day.
