To those skeptics like I am about buying things online. I have recently purchased some of the products by Jon Doyle. When I first received them I was a little upset due to my own ignorance of thinking the particular DVD's I ordered would have information on them other then what they did. I wrote to Jon who quickly answered me to my satisfaction. Not only that but he has continually answered my questions promptly and has been very helpful in setting up a program for my son to follow.

So to those of you who are in doubt I can tell you:
1) Jon stands behind his products and I feel that should I have remained unhappy he would have gladly accepted a return.

2) Jon's commitment to his customer's does not end with the purchase of a product, he is there to help you along the way with outstanding service.

I am in no way associated with Jon or his products. I am just a very satisfied customer due to great customer service. Just thought I would share my experience with everyone who may for some reason hesitate about making an investment for yourself or child.

I will second this sentiment. My boys love doing the U-Abs program because it is very clear to them how the routine builds those muscles/areas needed for best BASEBALL performance.

We combine U-Abs with Wolforth's 'The Athletic Pitcher' program for a solid one-two punch.

That is fine. You could also find plenty of training information, workouts, and exercises online for FREE if you do not want to buy from people that get preferential moderator treatment.

That is all well and good, as we are not saying that Jon Doyle is not qualified to do what he does. However, we believe that training information and help should be free of charge, and we provide such things without cost to the athletes or coaches (or dads!). We are confused as to why free information is deleted while information that often has to be purchased (or basic advertisement for Jon Doyle's website) are allowed. It may be a difference of opinion at the end of the day. We will continue to provide help for free, and he is free to charge if he so chooses. We would just like an equal opportunity to help. As for paid advertisement, we could work that out. However, since we are not in the business of making people pay for our services, this is unlikely.

Hater in the house! You say you aren't in the business of making people pay for your services...Well I would say that you're not really in any business at all then! Don't criticize someone like Mr. Doyle who has willingly helped so many people on this board. People even specifically ask for his help in their posts. I know back in high school, Mr. Doyle answered a question I sent him in a PM--and no, I did not have to pay. He is here to help the baseball community and answer peoples' questions. So what if he has an ad on the site? So what if he makes people pay for his services on his website? He does not come on the forum making posts about his products. People buy his products as a result of his knowledge he displays on the boards. His answers on the forum solidify him as a reputable strength coach. So many people on this website criticize others out of jealousy. Part of being a successful businessman is developing relationships with your customers, and Mr. Doyle has done just that. By him answering questions and helping many people on this board, many people trust him and are willing to invest in his products. It's as simple as that. Mr. Doyle has over 1,000 posts and has been a member of this site since 2006. So according to my calculations, since you have 8 posts and just joined yesterday, you have about 1,000 more questions to answer over a period of 2 years before you can even be talked about in the same breath as Mr. Doyle. Good Luck. You are off to a great start!

We do not care about Jon Doyle or whatever he offers. Our main concern is the fact that the moderators keep deleting our posts. You are correct, we are not in business to make money, at all. We are in just here to help, for free. Why is that such a problem here? It has not been a problem at the countless other sport message boards we have serviced. I am happy that Doyle has helped you out. We would like the opportunity to do the same. Many voices are better than one.

So just a few questions, pardon me if I've missed something along the way.

1. Where is the post where you explained what you were offering the folks on this board?

2. When you say websites you've serviced, what do you mean? How did you service them? Who are they?

3. If many voices are better than one, why would you not care about what Mr. Doyle has to offer?

4. Don't you realize moderators get to delete posts they deem unsuitable? Doesn't matter what you're offering, if you don't own the board, you don't make the rules, right??

1. There have been multiple posts. We offer a wide variety of useful training workouts, drills, exercise videos, and articles. There have been posts made in speed threads (where we put up a link to a list of sprint workouts) and an agility ladder thread (where we put up a link to a list of ladder workouts). There was also a link to baseball specific performance drills and the like.

2. We have given out workouts, drills, and advice on many different website forums, such as ones for football, s****r, volleyball, weightlifting, basketball, hockey, and track and field.

3. It is not that we don't care about Jon Doyle. We don't consider him to be the point of our concern. Our concern is why our posts are routinely deleted when all we are offering is free advice, articles, and training information.

4. The moderators told us we were spamming. We're not spamming. We're not selling anything. We're not posting things that were not asked for. We're posting workouts and links to programs that people actually use. We feel that their definition of spam has more to do with them feeling that we are stealing the spotlight from "official" sponsors. That is not our intention at all.

And thanks about your comment concerning the website. That is what we're here for. We love baseball as much as Jon Doyle, you, and anyone else. Our kids play it. Our athletes play it.

I am the owner of this site, and I have deleted your previous SPAM posts under the other three ID's. Under those ID's, you did NOT come on our forums and participate in the discussions, offering free advice. Instead you did the following:

First you came on pretending to be just a baseball dad who had nothing to do with the site you were advertising, but told us how great the site was...in numerous posts.

Then you made some posts under a new ID where you admitted to owning the other site, but you didn't offer helpful advice to our members HERE in these forums, you asked them to go to the other site for the information. Do you understand how telling the members of our site to go to some other site might be unwelcome here? One post like that might have been overlooked, but there were bunches.

Finally, the fact that you continue to do this the wrong way after several moderator actions (by me) has earned you pretty much an ongoing "UnWelcome" sign on the door.

Regarding Jon Doyle:

Jon became a sponsor of this forum about 1-1/2 years ago. I accepted him as the primary sponsor when other baseball businesses where "bidding" more money to sponsor the forum. Why? Because Jon had already participated unselfishly in our forums for a year, joining discussions and offering good advice, WITHOUT advertising his site or products.

Jon helps to support the significant cost of running this site with his sponsor dollars. Still, he politely observes the rule about not "advertising" in his comments. He typically only mentions his products or site in answer to a direct question. He WAS invited by me to include his website address in his post signature, as a sponsor of this forum.
