Why not expand your research area to include the east coast. You could Fed-x some bats to me and our summer team would be glad to assist in field testing

20 Miles south of Philadelphia. My son plays summer ball In whats called The Delco League. Advertised as the oldest semi-pro league in the country play was started in 1908. The league consist of 9 teams made up of guys anywhere from H.S. graduates on the way up in their carers to ex-major leaguers winding down their playing days. I guess it's what you might call the poor mans version of a summer coligate league. Alot of the players, like my son are late teen/early 20 year olds playing college ball. They have to purchase their own equipment so any opertunity to test out new equipment would be welcome. Also Jr. is heading off to Nebraska in the fall to start his Jr. year at a Div. 2 college so there may be another avenue there. Please feel free to look us up if you get out to this neck of the woods.

Thank you for the info plash3. Your son's accomplishments are impressive. I will let you know when I am near Philadelphia. In my prior life I worked for one of the biggest baseball bat companies that most people know as the head of R&D. I did go around testing bats including Baseball, Youth, slowpitch and fastpitch softball.
Happy 4th July.

Better hurry up if your heading out this way. The last game of the regular season is July 23rd then 3 rounds of playoff start. Season should wrap up by the 2ed week of August so if you want any field testing completed this year your running out of time.

You are absolutely correct. My error, I did not see it that way. My apologies to you and others. Being a new member is not an excuse for me. I should have remembered the rules.
