I'm looking for a very competitive team that needs a solid catcher. Played travel ball already for 3 yrs and want to play with the best to take it to the next level but not sure of all the different teams and programs out there. We've seen many teams at the tourneys over the past couple years but not sure who to talk to. Also if there are tryouts being held where and when?

There are some pretty decent MD based teams. Care to share who you/your son played for previously? Some teams off the top of my head would be the MD Monarchs, Baltimore Buzz and Delmarva Shorebirds.

Hey thanks for the info and sure I'll share. We played with the Seminoles and played the Buzz when we were 12U in Aberdeen and the shorebirds also but as 13U. My single biggest challenge is distance as I live in southern MD and would like to get involved with the Baltimore Metro league but quite far to travel depending on how many times a week. Right now my son will be the starting catcher for his HS team and in fact played this past fall with the legion teams against mostly juniors and seniors and did very well. Suggestions?
