I'm a freshman SS/2B in SC looking for summer baseball...I'm thinking about joining American Legion and I was wondering about local teams. I was hoping for any suggestions for playing in the summer ...thanks

The best team in South Carolina is the Diamond Devil based in Charleston. Check then and Coach John Rhodes out. It's a great program.

Hank-what school do you play for? Most Legion try outs will be held shortly after the play offs, keep an Eye out for press releases in The News and Courier.
The Diamond Devils are a good program but it is by invite only and costs around $1700 to play for the summer.
The Charleston Legion team folded last year but the West Ashley and North Charleston teams are still good.
The Diamond Warriors in Mount Pleasant is a super program and Pro Level Spoerts has a wonderful thing going in Goose Creek.
Lots of options for good baseball.
