Does anyone know of any adult baseball leagues in the Cleveland area? My son is staying at school to work this summer, and has been asking around about summer teams, so far to no avail. I know that softball is big in Cleveland, but that just won't do it for him. He is fretting bigtime---he may have "retired" from collegiate baseball, but cannot imagine not playing summer ball.

I do not live in the area and don't know the particulars

Have him watch the newspapers and ask around-- most areas have some great "Twilight Leagues" for the guys who want to keep on playing and the level of play is usually pretty high

Too bad he is not in NY --I got a call from an old friend last week who coaches in a such a league there and he was looking for players

There is a great league in Youngstown and Warren area. There are college players and guys that have finished their college careers. It is a very competitive league that is fun as well. It is "AA" baseball. If he would be interested I could get you in touch with some of the teams. Just let me know.
