I find it amazing that a certain summer program who boasts to be the best, uses all returning college players who fit the 19U age bracket is now scrambling for players. They are just tearing through the rosters of every other quality team from the area. Calling players on the phone and giving his sales pitch which is no more then a total fabrication of ego. To call and discredit other coaches is just totally classless. It must be easy to talk about your program when you really don't have to build one, just attend events and look for players from other teams. You know who you are...
By the way, the B Yankees are looking for players..

beside the fact of using players that should be playing in college leagues,the bayside yankees took players from the virginia barnstormers to go to jupiter in the fall every year,leaving home players that played with them in the summer kids who wanted to go.this year there is no jupiter for bayside,they are not allowed to any p.g.events any more.arizona for the weekend from n.y.?good luck.how about that kid they brought in from the dominican last year to play ss in jupiter.stealing players,m.c.the coach wrote the book. classic story-he stole a player from coach merc's team the past summer thinking the little lhp was throwing 87-89 with a great hammer.he heard about the pitcher from a scout at east cobb in july.he called the kids father to leave and play for bayside.the scout did'nt realize the lhp he saw was using the players jersey who was a disco pitcher[he threw in the 70's]from the week before.
