James,

I would highly recommend the Pueblo Chieftains. They have won the league the last 5 years and have been to the NBC World Series the last 5 years. They usually make a trip to play a couple teams in the Jayhawk league.

They house the players at CSU-Pueblo dorms and there is no cost to the players. They get meal money on away games. IMO they play on the best field in the league, not to mention the best weather although as you know in the summer it can get hot in Pueblo.

The coaches are good and will help you get better. My son played with them last year and had a great time. They had 7 DI players on their roster last year.

Check out their website. It is new, but has a history page and photos.

Let me know if I can be of further help. If you are serious, I would advise you contact them ASAP. I talked to Coach Barnes last week and he said their roster is filling up fast.

Frank

Cutfastball15,

That's okay I haven't been able to check for awhile either. I was the woman that talked to you and your dad. Have you decided where you are going yet?

I only know of one person they signed out of Lewis Palmer. I wouldn't worry about him not contacting you since January. Last year he contacted my son in March the first time, then not again until May. He ended up signing the middle of June. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.

I also know that the coach is big on players calling him and showing an interest.

Hey everyone,
thanks for everything, esspesally BBparent i feel alot better about the whole thing now. I was kinda worried beacuse almost all my team has signed and i havent. Frank i will look into some of those teams for sure, thank you. OkieBisel, is the raptors team the team that is assosiated with Eagalcrest? I have been hearing good things about the coach over there, however i dont remember his name, just curious. Thanks again to all of you, i will keep you informed of what is going on BBparent, as of now i have narrowed it down to Northeastern JC and Lamar so we will see what happens, Oh our team is doing quite well if anyone cares heritage is now 10-0 in state, we lost a few in Tennesse but i would like to note that we did not bring our "A" game musta got lost in luggage. Thanks again!
