Though I posted his acceptance awhile back, we really weren't 100% sure until we received the FA offer. Now that we've reviewed all that, I can squarely announce that Tristan Heckerl, '08 RHP out of Seoul American High School, will be playing ball for Coach Tim Scannell and the Trinity Tigers next year.
We are beyond thrilled. It's the right fit in every way! Now if we can just steer him away from Cultural Anthropology towards something where he'll be able to repay his loans someday, we'll be good!GO TIGERS!!

Krak, more great news!!! I can only hope Tristan finds the same friendships, academic challenges, and great baseball experience that our's found. When you put this news with the way those guys played over the past 2-3 weeks, both pitching and hitting, and include how young they are, TU can be really good, and Tristan can be playing in Wisconsin. I got to meet ILVBB today and had the pleasure of congratulating him on the great season Evan is having. If Evan isn't careful, we might be looking up in that record book. I can tantalize you a bit more??? Might be another Tiger returning...????

Congratulations to Tristan! I know he has worked very hard, and you have also worked hard, helping him find the right fit from halfway around the world!
I'm a long way from San Antonio, but if there is ever anything I can do to help Tristan out, please let me know. At least I'm in almost the same time zone!
Way to go, Tristan!

Congrats. Trinity is one of the finest universities in the country. And S.A. is nice for a big town.
If he runs into any emergencies while there, he can call me. I'm not so far away that I couldn't get back there before too long a time. PM me if you don't have my contact info.

Congratulations! We are so very happy for Tristan and the whole Krak family! It has been a long road since we met at Stanford last year! How fantastic that it worked out so well for Tristan! It's a long way from home, but I know he will do great! Just fantastic and congrats to you all. He didn't get here alone!
We'll be watching!

Hey Krak dad, took me a while to get back here but wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS again to you, Mrs Krak and especially to Tristan. It's going to be such an exciting run for all of you--enjoy every minute as it'll be the fastest four years you'll ever experience.
We're heading to SA for the big Millsaps weekend and the annual senior players ceremonies. We've decided to suggest to the other parents & fans that we all try to get together during a specific weekend series next spring at TU, that way we'll get to go back to SA while seeing our baseball friends and in addition, see Tristan live and in person. And with a bit of luck & good timing maybe we can meet you & Mrs Krak as well.
Good luck with the transition in August, it's hard but exciting at the same time. Sounds a bit like baseball doesn't it?
