A very proud dad is happy to announce that my son, Quinton Miller (08 RHP) has committed to the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
Thanks to all that have helped us wade through this exciting and sometimes terrifying journey. I hope I can repay my dept to all of you by helping others that will follow.
Does it get any better that this!!!

No it doesn't imho. They have been to the College World Series Final in the last two years and are obviously at the very top of the college baseball food chain.
The only thing better than this will be when you get to see him play for the first time and everytime thereafter. A tremendous accomplishment and best wishes for the young man. Please enjoy the final year of high school baseball. It is also the best of times
JD, Congrats to Quinton and your entire family. It si so very exciting. It does get better, but HS and college baseball are memories that will last a lifetime.
Enjoy!
And best of luck in the Aflace game!

JD ... Welcome to a little bit of Heaven (NC) ... I'm glad junior is coming down here (especially since we play them regularly). I'll get to see him on the field.
GREAT NEWS H3

Beezer - proud to say I was born a Buckeye and raised in Kentucky. Had the best of all worlds growing up, UK basketball, Ohio State football, Big Red Machine, Browns then Bengals and of course the Kentucky Derby!
Justbaseball - Thankfully the family back home was okay about Jerseyson not going back to "Bearcat land", however imagine telling my dad (die hard University of Kentucky fan) that my son is going to North Carolina! The only thing that might have been worse was if I had told him he was going to Indiana or Duke! (*$%*!@? Christian Laettner)

There's a lot to be said for southern hospitality! It was great getting to know both of you a little bit. I look forward to a few more conversations down 1st base line at Boshamer Stadium. (Hopefully Prepster will still be around as well).

The fact you're denying him a chance to matriculate to a school in buckeye-land is unconscionable.....well, I guess my son would jump at the chance to don the columbia blue uniform in a NYC second as well!!! Congrats.
