My youngest son Corbin Ariail, Spring Valley High School, Columbia, South Carolina has committed this past weekend w/ Carson-Newman College, Jefferson City, Tennessee as RHP. He has an older brother (will be a senior next year - LHP) that is in the same conference w/ CN, Presbyterian College. I will be running the roads between the schools.

Both, I will sitting right smack in the middle and
I have already started designing me a shirt for that game!

I will use my right side for Carson-Newman, then my left side for PC. Since each one is RHP & LHP.

Baseballmom,
Congrats! Carson Newman is just 45 minutes from me. I know the coaches well. Your son made a good choice.

Congratulations from NE Columbia! Best of luck to both your boys. My son will be going to Spring Valley in a few years.

Did you ever see Brad Woodall pitch for Spring Valley? He was pretty darn good. (Braves, Twins)

That is Great! Spring Valley has a great coaching staff. He will enjoy it.

I have only seen Brad pitch w/ the Braves when he was called up. But I know his brother and father. He has a nephew that pitches on the Spring Valley JV. Looks like he will be following his uncles footsteps.

When we took the visit, we fell in love w/ the campus. Really impressed with the coaches too!
I know that he picked the right school for himself.

The way the staduim is set up. Everyone is on one side. Which will work out perfect that way I can enjoy meeting the CN parents as well as the new PC parents.

Baseballmom, Just saw this on here and figured I would tell you and Corbin congratulations personally. Corbin has a big upside, I believe his best days are in front of him. I was just hoping we were gonna see him on the other side of the state. I enjoyed the time we spent on your tour and I really wish Corbin the best of luck.

Ditto for me, at Christopher Newport University, in Newport News, Virginia. Looking forward to seeing both sons at once, which we were able to enjoy for one year where they overlapped in high school. Lots of great pictures they'll appreciate more when they're a couple of old men, trying to convince my grandchildren they really could play.......

Baseballmom4ever-We're keeping up with Ryan over the internet at FMU. Sounds like he's doing well.
