Congratulations to Coach May, and his son Jeff. Coach May just called to say that Jeff has committed to UNC. The Heels are getting a great player, and person. My son loves throwing to Jeff. Great target behind the plate, and knows how to call a game.

Congratulations!!!

Coach May, I keep thinking I'll get to see your boy in action some day. We keep missing each other! Though I did hear tell of a monster shot he hit at the East Cobb WWBA 18u this summer. And now I hear that Wake and UNC don't face off the next two years -- who made up THAT schedule? Guess we'll just have to wait for Fenway!

This must've been a tough negotiation, since I have always gotten the impression that UNC was Jeff's "dream school." Did he put on his poker face and hold out? Smile

Congratulations Jeff, Kenny and Rhonda! Jeff shared the news with Mac when he ran into him last night. He was grinning ear to ear. You must be very pleased - we are happy for you all.

Thanks guys!! I am glad it is over and I can now focus all my attention on a making sure a couple of more guys find the right fit for them. When my son was 8 years old he told me while throwing in the front yard that he was going to play ball at UNC. It has been a life long dream of his. I tried to get him to look around and have some other options. But in the end there was only one option as far as he was concerned. I am happy for my son, anyone that knows him knows how hard he works at the game. We feel very fortunate that he has this opportunity. Again, thanks everyone for your support and your congrats.

Congratulations to Jeff. Has been a pleasure watching him and talking with Kenny over the last couple years. UNC definitely got a great catcher and a great family added to their program. We wish him great success.
