During the NJCAA early signing period the Young Harris College Mountain Lions have committed nine student athletes from the state of Georgia. The early commitments consist of nine standout high school players that are extremely athletic and have enjoyed great success on the baseball field as well as the classroom. Seven of the nine players were selected from the 2006 Young Harris College Instructional Showcase.

The Mountain Lions early commitments are: Daniel Warzon (Collins Hill), Clay Remole (Kell), Jeff Brown (Brunswick), Eric Swegman (Forsyth Central), Austin Schultz (St. Francis), Sean Kelly (Milton), Christopher George (Shiloh Hills), Josh Vining (Metter), Harrison Clymer (Milton). Each of these young men will be looked upon to contribute to the YHC tradition
