Playing Connie Mack Baseball at University of California at Riverside, DI, Big West Conference with Long Beach State, Cal State Fullerton, etc. Pitcher, unrecruited and just graduated from HS, throws very nice 6 innings. UCR head coach sees him, talkes to him and coach, watches him throw a two hitter, again in Connie Mack competition, the next week, signs him in Letter of Intent. This is late June. It can happen anytime

Just that type of thing happened two or three time during each summer of travel ball for kids. It was good to see those kids have an opportunity in the fall. Each one deserved the chance to compete......and got it.
