Tim Yeargain, a good friend of mine just committed to play for Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. All he and I have ever wanted is to play college baseball and now his dream has come true.

A good friend of mine, Jason Ermers pitched for them. 08 was his last year. I believe they had a coaching change that year.

Spartan,
Your friend Tim will be playing for one terrific Coach and person.
I had the great pleasure to first meet Doc Beeman in 2000 at Trinity University. We have remained in contact over the years so I guess I have some bias.
Doc helped our son immensely on and off the baseball field and in his adjustments to college life. He also helped him get placed for great summer league exposure.
If your friend works very, very hard he will be a better player and person because he was coached by Doc.

I know Ermers liked him. Jason was not going back until he heard there was a new coach.

Yea, he said one of the main reasons he decided to go to Benedictine so fast was because he was very impressed with Doc Beeman. Working hard definitely won't be a problem for him, he's one of the hardest workers I know, on and off the field, that's why I am so happy for him. Thank you all for the replies.
