Mike Mercurio has verbally committed to High Point University and the new Head Coach Craig Cozart. We are very pleased that Michael was able to attend the school he was hoping to go to after visiting back in April. With the coaching changes there, we didn't know what would happen but the first guy to see him in East Cobb was Coach Peters of High Point and the rest is history.
Mike committed moments before his fellow teammate on the Clippers RHP Steven Roche followed him.

There is a good chance Lafayette could play High Point this season during spring break. They are probably going to make a similar trip to what they did two years ago and they were on the schedule.
Hope it turns out that way again.

Congrats Coach Merc! Love Coach Peters. Was the first recruiter to make son college offer when he was with South Florida-has a special place in ,y heart. Was very excited for him going to High Point though you and he will now be a rival!
