I was invited to a pre-draft workout, however, I will most likely have a game that day, as it is during the state tournament.

Should I let the person who invited me know why I will not be coming or just ignore the invite completely?

Thanks for whatever help you can provide me with.

Definately call whoever sent you the invite and explain your situation. If they do not hear from you, they may conclude that you have no interest in being drafted.

You should always respond, regardless of whether you'll be there or not. Communicate. This is about more than just this invitation, it's a fundamental skill/value that everyone should have all the time, in all situations.

I often see young adults these days who haven't been taught that it isn't ok to not responed to things, it seems generational. No matter what the situation is, you should always respond and you'll find that you often improve situations when you do.

Good luck in the playoffs...and in the draft!
