Should I call and let the scouts who attended know that I appreciate them taking the time to come or just let them go about their regular business?

i wouldn't want to give the impresion of being the medling parent. i mean the one you read about, when they rip up the info card after they talk to you.

that would be my thought,i was always so surprised/happy that any one was watching. never thought to say thanks.

I am a player, but I wasn't sure if it would seem like you were saying. I don't want to come off as being meddling, I just want to show that I really do appreciate it (although I do realize it is their job).

if they talk to you ,at a game or on the phone.as a player i think thanking them would be cool. calling them to thank them, maybe not so cool. but i don't think it would be held against you,if you called. jmo.

If it were a college recruiter I would say call thank him for taking the time..
A pro scout to me is different ... If he speaks with the player after the game, sure thank him for coming but unless he gave me his number and I had a reason to call, I wouldn't bother him just to say thanks
