Son's team is going to the Ripken tournament July 21-28. The team is staying at Myrtlewood Villas. Anybody familiar with the area have any lodging suggestions? Any sources for homes a couple of families could share etc?
Thanks

We stayed at the Myrtlewood Villas this past summer. We were there for a tournament and not Cal Ripken. I would highly recomend staying at the Myrtlewood. We had a 2 bedroom Condo and it was a great change of pace from staying in hotels. The pool was never crowded and it was central to all the tourist attractions. It is also a few short blocks to the beach.

My sons team was also playing in the Ripken Experience the week of the 4th of July. The Myrtlewood Villas are beautiful and I would stay there again any day.
Ripken did it up nice. Great complex, beautiful fields, great value in what the kids get and the beach is less than a mile away!

We stayed at Myrtlewood Villas during the U14 AAU tournaments. It's great. 3 Dads and 3 sons in a 3 BR condo.. and enough space and TVs' so no ones tripping over one another. Very affordable if you split it a few ways. Enough room to have 1/2 the team over for dinner, plus pool and can cook breakfast! Best place that all the parents found by far.

Take a look at seawatch -- great family place. 2br suites with kitchen and laundry - 5 pools - right on the beach. Stayed there a few years ago for 13u aaus in myrtle beach.
