Any recommendations on where to stay near Memphis? Playing at the Dulins Dodgers complex in early July.

Larry,
Three possibilities:

Wingate Inn
AmeriSuites
Courtyard Marriott

All are close to the fields and convenient to eating places. Email me directly at glegg@gamedaysa.com if you need more info.

Corky's in Codova is definitely a must. Less than 5 minutes from First TN Fields. Make sure Mike Craddick takes care of you. He is the MGR there. His son and mine play ball together.

Wood-man...you better bite your tounge!

I've eaten BBQ all over this great land and Charlie Vergos makes the best ribs hands down!

It wasn't Elvis' favorite place because of the decor.

Thanks for the great advice folks! We have a large contingent going on the trip (over 100 including parents/fans, players, coaches). And thanks for the tip on Corky's. Our head coach needs to gain some weight!

What about golf courses in the area? Joe Platt has scheduled our team for one game each of the first four days, that means we have lots of dads and players who will want to spend some money at the golf course.

Any advice? Looking for courses < $50 per round.
