That's a great location. You have Lake George to the north and Saratoga Springs (oneof my all time favorite places) just 20 minutes to the south off I89 (also known as the Adirondack Northway). If you get a chance, check out downtown Saratoga. Great little shops and restaurants. The Saratoga mall is at exit 15 and I believe the Aviation Mall is at exit 18, so if you have to find a Walmart or JC Penny or something similar, they're available, but downtown Saratoga is a wonderful place to visit. There are a lot of hotels and motels in the area (can't recommend them because I always stay at my brother's house) and I've yet to find a restaurant I didn't like. They've all been excellent. Have a great time. Its a beautiful part of the country.

bballmom2,

Just a couple of minor corrections on KmomNH's post:

Change I89 to I87 and the Aviation Mall is at Exit 19 instead of Exit 18.

Wouldn't want you to get lost when you come to my neck of the woods. I hope you enjoy your stay and if you have any questions feel free to ask or e-mail.

Oops - I goofed. I89 is in NH and I87 is in NY. My apologies. Hope you have a great trip regardless. If hubby was willing to move out of NH, I'd be living in Saratoga in a heartbeat.
