Glenn Swanson threw a no hitter on Tuesday, 4/25, allowing only one baserunner as the result of a walk. He only threw 89 pitches in the 9 inning complete game, 64 for strikes which led to 14 K's.

Glenn is a nice kid who did very well as a freshman and then struggled. I believe he missed one season with an injury of some sort and appears to have come back strong this season. It was great to read the article on the UCI website and it should be in the papers tomorrow. Hopefully Glenn will receive the accolades he deserves this week with recognition at the national level. (Too often, guys like Glenn get lost behind the visibility of the big guys.)

Here is a link to the story and box schore:

A no-no for Swanny…..it couldn’t have happen to a nicer kid.

89 total pitches in 9 innings!

Bullwinkle is without words!

theEh ...

Well, considering the fact that there is really only ONE crazed moose in the whole of So Cal, that would have been him. Hopefully he wasn't chasing any little penguins penguinskateb

What campuses did you look at? There are some beautiful ones down here ...
