Thanks. I had been looking for the brackets. I'll take the championship bracket: Stealth Championship Bracket
Harvard Westlake (1-0-1) @ West Ranch (2-0)
I pick West Ranch
Hart (1-0-1) @ Cleveland (2-0)
Cleveland defense is stronger
Chatsworth (2-0) @ Alemany (2-0)
Chatsworth
Simi (2-0) @ Crespi (2-0)
This one is difficult to call. I have to flip a coin here....any one have a coin I can borrow?...Found one...heads=Simi, Crespi=tails...The flip...It's heads...Simi wins on an error.

Crespi the Div 2 school wins over last years Div 1 Southern Section CIF Champ Simi Valley 5-4. I said it would be close. Simi didn't capitalize on 8 walks.
Cleveland over Hart 6-3
West Ranch over Harvard-Westlake 8-7 (8 innings). This was tighter than I thought it would be.
Alemany over Chatsworth 9-3 Surprise!
I'm predicting Crespi over Cleveland. The guys on these two squads have been pounding with and on each other since they were 10 year olds.
West Ranch vs Alemany could go either way. I'm taking Alemany who is a little deeper in pitching.

Wow nice job for Crespi. 8 walks yikes....dodged a bullet with that win.
Both these games probably depend on who is taking the mound and I don't really know the teams that well. We lost to Cleveland and they are solid and can hit.
Will be interesting to see the rest of the brackets later today.

Alemany wins over Cleveland to take 3rd in the Easton Southern California Showdown. Not a bad outing. Might bode for interesting happenings in the Mission League.
Crespi faces West Ranch tonight at Birmingham (moved from UCLA). I still pick Crespi over West Ranch.
