I know that many do not believe that Div VI is real baseball, but I
need to compile some info on the division so I can vote on the top
ten.

I know these:
Apple Valley Chr. is down, They graduated 8 seniors last year.
They return Johnny Mortimore, the All-Cif Shortstop, and one
starting pitcher, Josh Jenkins. Four to five freshmen will see starts
on the season. Record is 0-1, with a 15-5 loss to Lucerne Valley.

Hesperia Christian- Graduated most of their starters last year.
Scores vs. Silver Valley were similar to AVC scores against the
same opponent in their scrimmage. They have had a coaching
change, They will get used to Coach Booth pretty quickly, and
they should get stronger as the season progresses.

Victor Christian- They return LHP Mickey Guenther. He is a hard
thrower, and has serious stuff. They picked up transfer Mike
Haney, who comes from Apple Valley High. They should be solid,
having a chance to go deep in the playoffs.

Upland Christian- Umpire who worked their scrimmage told me
that they were very solid. Had an impressive freshman pitcher
who he thought would develop quickly.

Trona- Lost big in opener to VVC, and seems to be down again.

Top ten voting starts today, and I, like many have not been able to
see that many teams. Please share what you know

vvc is a real good team. Isaw them play today (3/9) and they looked good. They have three pithchers who throw hard and consistent. I don't knkow how good there defense is, but because of the league and division they are in, their pitching will dominate. They do have some weak bats and a good pitcher will dominate them

Mickey, their Lefty, should have a good year. The Agape league is down this year with all of the graduations. Should be a two team race between Joshua and Victor.

We will all find out real quick how some of the other teams are. Many of us will be playing Boron, Desert, Upland Christian, and CC Moreno Valley.
