Thanks to RHP05Parent, here is the final game schedule for the East Bay Classic.

What she probably won't tell you is that her son is scheduled to start against another one of the East Bay's premier pitchers for the championship game. Has all the makings of a classic pitchers duel, with some solid support by both teams.

Final games are this Saturday @ James Logan HS:

Clayton Valley vs Bishop O'Dowd @ 10am
Granada vs Newark Memorial @ 1pm
Monte Vista vs San Ramon Valley @ 4pm
Foothill vs De La Salle @ 7pm

Just talked to my son who is at the game. DLS and Foothill are in the 8th and it is 0-0.
Might want to call this a "pitchers' duel"

Ended up DeLaSalle 1, Foothill 0 in 10. I wasn't there, but I understand both Eric Massingham and Brad Bergeson threw great games.

Thank you URKMB, NoCADad & Just! Smile It was a nail biter. Both pitchers took turns keeping zeros on the scoreboard, inning after inning, and eventually had to turn it over to the bullpen. Winning 1-0 in the 10th inning against another great team was priceless. greenjump

I saw that Schlatter(sp) got the win. I really like the way he "pitches". Not a lot of velocity but he does a very good job of keeping batters off balance.

RHP05Parent - CONGRATULATIONS to your son on an awesome game yesterday; particularly going toe to toe against another top CA player! applaude

Also, on a personal note, had the pleasure to meet NorthernCalif_Dad last week and watch his son pitch. While he probably didn't love the outcome of the game, his son threw extremely well - nasty off-speed stuff! He has high potential to make an early impact next year at Cal-Poly!

CalBB - hope you are having an awesome time in AZ, because you missed some great baseball up here!

Thank you URKMB, It was nice to meet you also and and to se your son throw (extemely well also - our coach and catcher were impressed on how well he hid the ball).
I believe rankings will com out this week and expect to see DLS #1 and MV should be top 5 easy.

RHP05 - Congratulations on the DLS win against St. Mary's! Sounds like it was quite a game and that E dialed in his usual great performance! Who's on the schedule for this week?
