It was a very long day! Left home at 5:45am for 8am check in. Pitchers sat around until 2p before they picked up a ball. Infield and outfielders worked out in the morning and they cut about half of those players after lunch. The remaining players hit in a simulated game, each pitcher faced 3 batters. Even though it was a long day son had a great time. Got a chance to catch-up with old team mates he hasnt seen in a while and hear about the coaches who had called them the day before (July 1). Lots of scouts on hand. Very talented group of players. I dont know the grad year of all the players but I know must of them to be 2009. Son received two calls from coaches after the tryout. Pretty good exposure if you ask me. I wonder how many will make the team?
