Check out what these new kids on the block are doing in Sacramento. They recently had a camp attended by Shawon Dunston. They even had Dusty Baker pop in for a visit. These guys can tell the kids what it takes to make it from Little League to the Big Leagues.Baseball Mentoring Program

I can't say enough about BMP and the Leach brother's, Jalal and Jarman. They are putting together, what is going to be, the premiere baseball instructional program in California.

They are taking kids at all talent levels and are rapidly making them better players. They not only improve them physically, but have great insight into the mental aspects of the game that they impart to their players.

For those of you that don't know Jarman pitched in the minors with the Padres. Jalal played 15 years in pro ball and in the majors with the Giants. He's played with greats such as Bonds and Jeter and many other Major Leaguers who he keeps in contact with.

Imagine, on a rainy Sunday night in West Sacramento, Dusty Baker drops by to see Leachy and give some words of encouragement to a samll group of boys, my son included. Or have Shawon Dunston drive up from the Bay Area to help his ex-teammate teach baseball the right way.

Jalal along with his brother are very special teachers and as important, mentors to our young men. Jalal is establishing a college recruiting program for his players and has commitments from over 40 colleges to rely on his expertise and use his service. That expertise also has landed him a job as a part-time scout for the Colorado Rockies
I hope all of you have an opportunity to meet and learn from this outstanding person and unique baseball teacher

I've heard the same. I've talked to some baseball guys back east who have met and been a part of organinzations when Jalal Leach was still playing and they have nothing but good things to say about him.
